Craft for Christmas

When it comes to crafting for Christmas, it’s never too early to start!

On this course you will learn how to use a sewing machine to make some heirloom Christmas decorations to treasure.

These will include a stocking, an advent calendar and an appliqué cushion using a Christmas card design.

This course is aimed at absolute beginners through to those with sewing experience, who would like to come and try some new projects. You will need to bring:

A basic sewing kit, which could include

Thread
Fabric scissors
Tailors chalk/fabric marker
Pins
Tape measure
Hand Sewing needles
You will also need to provide your own fabric for your projects. Your tutor will advise you what you will need during the first sessions.

No Entry Criteria

Our recreational classes are aimed at those aged 19 or above.
Your tutor will be able to advise of any further training opportunities.
