Jobsmart is a free service from Gloucestershire College to help and support unemployed people, aged 19 and above, in Gloucestershire to return to work. The courses offered by Jobsmart are tutor led and designed to support you back in to work.
This programme is aimed at those wishing to work in the security sector and will also offer the opportunity to discuss and identify the different types of roles available in security.
You will be working to achieve the following 4 qualifications:
HABC Level 2 Award for Working as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry (RQF)
HABC Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry (RQF)
HABC Level 2 Customer Service
HABC Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development for Employability (RQF)
Course content will be as follows:
- Working in the Private Security Industry
- Solving Work Related Problems
- Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry
- Building Working Relationships with Colleagues
- Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry
- Building working relationships with Customers
- Communicating Solutions to Others
*SIA Licence fee will not be paid for by the College*

These courses will be free of charge for learners aged 19 and over (as at 31st August 2021) in receipt of certain benefits or employed learners earning less than £18,525.00 annual gross salary.
