Admissions FAQs

Due to the popularity of our courses, we strongly recommend applying before 31 March to ensure you have the best opportunity to secure a place on your chosen course.

All our applications are made online. Alternatively, come along to one of our Open Events and apply in person in the Admissions area.

We recommend you apply for the level you are confident achieving the entry requirements for. Entry requirements are outlined on every online course page. If you haven’t yet received your latest qualification results, please check with your school what your predicted grades are.

We strongly recommend only applying for the level that best matches your predicted grades and what area interests you the most, you will only be able to enrol on to your First Choice Course.

All our courses have entry requirements published on every course webpage. For young students who may have been out of a school environment and not obtained formal qualification we recommend you contact us on 0345 155 2020 (option 3) to discuss further.

If you applied before the Christmas break, you can expect an offer from us at the end of January/early February. Anyone applying from January onwards will receive updates around 4 weeks after their application date.

Of course! Our Open Events run November, January and May, all events are bookable here.

Until the 31 July, you're welcome to submit another application or make any amendments to your current applications and the First Choice Course you’ve selected to one of the other courses you have applied for. Any changes made after 31^st July are considered considerably late and your application date will change to the date of the change.

Due to the nature of the courses we only interview for our Health: Supporting the Adult Nursing Team T Level and any Apprenticeship.

All admissions emails are followed by a text message. In some cases, our text messages can be received more quickly. If you have received a text but no email, please check your spam/junk folder and then get in touch so that we can check we have the correct contact details.

A conditional offer is subject to both you meeting the entry requirements outlined on every online course page and course availability. 

If you didn't achieve a 4 in maths and/or English, you will have the opportunity to study it alongside your full-time course if you are aged 18 or under, we will add this to your timetable for you.

We offer a wide range of learning support for our students to ensure they have a positive and successful journey with us. If you have an EHCP or My Plan our Transitions team will review it and be in contact. You can find out more about learning support here.

Some of our courses require kit/uniform. The Admissions team will send you information in August. You are not obligated to order this until you have been officially enrolled.

If you need to pay any fees, we'll let you know during the summer. You'll be able to make any payments once you've officially been enrolled. You can find more information about course fees here.

You’ll need to decide your First Choice Course and accept your conditional offer for your First Choice Course by 31 July. 

Our main enrolment period is the last week in August and the first week in September. Expect to hear from us during this time. 

You’ll need to confirm your personal details are correct and upload a copy of your results through our Online Enrolment Portal. Further information will be sent to you throughout the summer, please keep an eye on your email and text messages.

You can still apply after our recommended application date of 31 March, however after this date applications are considered late applications. 

Student enrolments are prioritised and scheduled based on the date of the application, so the later the application is made the more applications will be ahead of yours in the queue. 

Please be reassured that it is likely we can enrol you on your First Choice Course, but we can’t guarantee that there will be places available for late applicants as some of our courses do fill up quickly. In the event your First Choice Course has reached capacity, you may be offered an alternative. 

Please continue to upload your results through the Online Enrolment Portal. Our Academic Team will review your results and may get in touch with you to offer a suitable alternative, if required. We strongly recommend you do not re-apply for a different course level.

During the summer, our Online Enrolment Portal will open where you can upload your exam results online. If you are waiting for your results, we recommend that you upload your results the same day you receive them so we can progress with the rest of your enrolment.

Please note that your results will need to be uploaded clearly to include your details, the subject, and results.

Get in contact with your GCSE provider as they may be able to email a copy to you to upload to the Online Enrolment Portal, alternatively, you could nominate a trusted friend or family member to get them for you.

If you will not be able to attend any lessons throughout the duration of your course, please inform Admissions so that we can make arrangements and avoid you missing too much of your course.

Our courses start in September, and you'll likely start in the first full week. We'll give you your timetable and start date once your enrolment has been completed.

You will receive your timetable once you have been officially enrolled. Our main enrolment period is the last week in August and the first week in September. 

There will be a transfer window available to current students. When you start, you'll meet your Learner Mentor who can support this change for you.
