Care work can be demanding and challenging but it is also worthwhile and very rewarding. Social care usually takes place in the home, in care homes or in the community. It can include anything from helping people get dressed to transporting them to and from a residential home or taking them shopping.
This apprenticeship will equip apprentices with a good range of key skills and knowledge, enabling them to help people with particular needs and disabilities in their everyday lives.
